Candi Borobudur

By Airway

Travelers from various the city can directly choose flight to the Adi Sutjipto airport Yogyakarta. When the flight schedules are fully booked, the travelers are able to choose through Adi Soemarmo Airport in Solo

By Land Route

Land routes certainly choose Yogyakarta city as a transit place. The selected route can through Sleman-Tempel-Salam-Muntilan to Mendut. When choose to use the train, Tugu Station in Yogyakarta city becomes the final destination. Moreover, you can use public transportation towards the Giwangan bus terminal and then take the bus to Borobudur.

TIPS / ADVICES

• Borobudur Temple is beautifully visited at any time, but the best time is in June, July or August. The reason is the bright air of those months. Another Borobudur’s  uniqueness can be seen before the sun rises.
• The satisfaction to enjoy Borobudur Temple when we can arrive at the highest terrace. In order to reach to the top, it is good for visitors to use footwear such as sneakers, not high heels.
